View from the Top!
The 3rd Annual White Salmon Backyard Half trail run is happening again Saturday, June 19th at 9 am. And once again, it is FREE to enter!
White Salmon Columbia High School is putting together a cross country team this year! They are in need of donations, so if you have any spare change (or dollars) you can bring to donate, they would be ecstatic!
It will start and finish right in front of Everybody's Brewing brewpub and loop up and around Hospital Hill, with 1,800+ feet of elevation gain. The motivation to finish the loop will be making it back to the brewpub for some great beer and food!
The other motivation is to get to the top of Hospital Hill to see the awesome views of the Gorge!
Last year there were 65+ people run it. Hopefully more this year!

EVENT DETAILS:

COST: FREE - (It is just a fun run on a great course) A waiver must be signed prior to start.
WHEN: Saturday, June 19th at 9:00 am.
DISTANCE: 13.1 miles
WHERE: White Salmon, WA.
AID STATIONS: 3 - (Hopefully... But, definitely treat it as a self-supported run and bring what you need to survive the loop. The aid stations will probably have limited water and some munchies depending on how motivated the volunteers are. Last year the aid stations were awesome, because of the awesome volunteers! Hopefully that will be the same this year, but some of those volunteers might be running this year!)
